Lehigh Valley Kennel Club
Lehigh Valley Kennel Club, Inc. (LVKC) is an organization whose purpose is to aid in the betterment and advancement of purebred dogs and was founded in 1909 and incorporated on August 6, 1928.
The membership is comprised of dog owners, breeders and individuals dedicated to the welfare of purebred dogs and activities in the world of dogs. Members have many interests: conformation, field, obedience & rally, tracking, agility and simply the love of dogs.
Our meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 535 W Emaus Ave., Allentown, PA 18103. There is an informative program at 7:30 PM and a general membership meeting at 8:00 PM. There are no meetings in July & August. If you are interested in
learning more about the LVKC, you are invited to attend our meetings as our guest.

OBJECTIVES

To do all in its power to protect and preserve the breeding of purebred dogs and to accept the challenge of improving their natural qualities.

To urge members and breeders to be guided by the standards of each of their breeds as identified by the American Kennel Club and to accept it as the only standard.

To encourage sportsman like competition at dog shows, obedience trials and all other AKC performance events.

To preserve and advance the interests of pure-bred dogs.

To conduct sanctioned matches, all bred shows, obedience trials and other specialty shows abiding by the rules of the American Kennel Club.

To provide canine education to the general public.

To conduct or operate the Club ethically so that any profits from dues, shows, and the Club will retain other financial income.
